Dora shrugged in a noncommittal way. She didn't know why her friend so keen on Bella. "Maybe Keena's power hungry and thinks Bella's the way to go. Or I could be completely off kilter with the whole idea. Your guess is as good as mine."
There wasn't much more to say on the subject of Keena. Dora didn't feel right talking about the one person who knew everything she had been through and had been there too. Even if it was Severus she was talking to, there was no telling if it might get back to Keena. "So, what else do you want to know?" She didn't know if he had anymore questions, but she thought there might be more there, since he had already asked so many.

Severus sort of felt guilty asking all these questions. Dora obviously wasn't comfortable with her involvement, nor with Keena's enjoyment of it all. He did have more questions but he felt, since she had only just started talking to him again, that he'd hold off. "Yeah," he said, getting up and flipping up the lid of his trunk. He dug out a second copy of the herbs list he had given Dora and Keena. "Where can we get Damiana? I've been experimenting with a new beauty potion."

It was a sudden change of topic, but one that Dora appreciated. She had briefly flirted with the idea, back when all this had started, of inducting Severus, and she felt alright with sharing this information with him, but she was tired of talking about it that night.
"I'm sure Keena mentioned that there was some in the Forbidden Forest," she replied, turning so that she could face him and his trunk, "That was toward the bottom of the list, wasn't it? We didn't get much past Belladonna." Belladonna had been third or fourth on the list of six or seven items.

"Right." He grabbed a small satchel from his trunk, pulled out a few crumpled up bits of parchment and a rock from it, then shoved it into his deepest pocket. He flipped the lid of his trunk closed and shoved his hands into his pocket, his right hand clasping the handle of his wand just because. "You up for a little scavenger hunt?" According to the shiny black marks he'd made on the list after receiving the few items from Keena (and getting one or two things on his own free time), they only needed three more items. Damiana, for a beauty potion he had overheard some seventh years talking about. He figured he could make a good profit there. The second item left was Wintergreen which he needed for a salve he had been experimenting with after a rather dangerous run-in with one of his own attempts at a new hex. And last he needed Witch Hazel for a special potion he was making for his mother. Severus moved to his pillow and pulled a thin notebook out from the pillowcase. He had images of all the plants he needed in there, along with many more that he didn't currently need. It was his herbs journal, and generally came in handy.
